Our classes are suitable for of all levels and experience (unless otherwise stated) with a teacher on hand to guide you at your own pace.
All our classes teach postures and techniques that can bring an increase to flexibility & strength and include methods of relaxation and mindfulness for improved well-being.
Gentle Yoga
Intensity - Easy
Gentle Yoga is a slow, relaxing practice. involving very minimal strength-oriented postures, working mainly on mobility exersises. The intention is to gently dissolve physical tensions and melt away mental stresses.
Flow and Stretch
Intensity - All levels
This practice is for those who love an invigorating flow followed by a delicious series of Yin floor stretches. It is the perfect combo of yang and yin energy.
Breathwork is used to calm and soothe the nervous system.
Meditation and relaxation techniques to help with clarity of mind, leaving you calm and serene.
Yin Yoga
Intensity - Easy/Moderate
Yin Yoga is mainly a floor based class, holding a relaxed posture for 3-5 minutes, exerting positive stress on the subtle body tissues as a way to trigger the body’s natural repair response, thus leading to stronger and more supple joints.
Yoga Flow
Intensity - Moderate/Advanced
A Yoga Flow class that strengthens and invigorates the body through power vinyasa incorporating “The 4 Pillars of Fitness,” — strength, stamina, balance and flexibility, all within the context of a seamless, unbroken flow that links breath with movement, an athletic meditation in motion!
Hatha Yoga
Intensity - Easy/Moderate
Hatha yoga incorporates all the qualities of a traditional yoga class. It is practiced at a slower pace, with focus on the breath, controlled movements, and stretching.
Kundalini Yoga
Intensity - Moderate
Kundalini Yoga is a combination of movement, breath (pranayama), meditation, and chanting. Its goal is not only to make the body stronger and more energetic, but also to increase your level of self-awareness and consciousness.
Yogalates Sculpt
Intensity - Moderate
A fun Yoga/Pilates fusion class to help tone and sculpt. We will use a variety of equipment such as resistance bands, weights, blocks, Pilates small ball. Focusing on controlled movements that challenge your muscles while grounding your mind.
Pilates
Intensity - Easy/Moderate
Pilates is an unbelievable way of gaining strength in your pelvic floor and core abdominals to improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility.
Restorative Yoga
Intensity - Easy
Restorative yoga is a real treat for the body and mind, and can be very helpful for managing pain and stress. We gently open and stretch the body in simple postures, mostly floor based, using lots of support from bolsters and blankets. It is a time for you to bring the breath more fully into the body and take time in each posture to release tightness and tension. Sometimes we do a longer Yoga Nidra relaxation if deeper rest is needed. Even if you have injuries it can be really helpful; we can adjust all the postures to make them accessible and beneficial for you.
