Our classes are aimed at yogis of all levels and experience (unless otherwise stated) with a teacher on hand to guide you at your own pace.

All our yoga classes teach postures and techniques that can bring an increase to flexibility & strength and include methods of relaxation and mindfulness for improved well-being.

Gentle Yoga

Intensity - Easy

Gentle Yoga is a slow, relaxing practice. involving very minimal strength-oriented postures. The intention is to gently dissolve physical tensions and melt away mental stresses.

Slow Flow

Intensity - Moderate

A slow yet fairly strong alignment based flow class to strengthen, tone and stretch the body

Breathwork is used to calm and soothe the nervous system.

Meditation and relaxation techniques to help with clarity of mind, leaving you calm and serene.

 

Yin Yoga

Intensity - Easy/Modersate

Yin Yoga is holding a relaxed posture for 3-5 minutes, exerting positive stress on the subtle body tissues as a way to trigger the body’s natural repair response, thus leading to stronger and more supple joints.

Flow & Stretch

Intensity - Moderate/Advanced

Energise and recharge yourself with this strong mindful flow

Every class is different and options are given to challenge yourself at your own pace

This class is great if you like to move and explore creative flows

We often incorporate breathwork, meditation and relaxation techniques into the class too!

 

Kundalini

Intensity -Moderate

Kundalini yoga incorporates a little of everything, and each class is very different - sometimes high energy and aerobic, sometimes using repetitive rhythmic movements to stimulate lymph, brain and nerve function, sometimes more quietly meditative … always with some focused breath-work to cleanse and enhance lung and heart condition. Music is an important aspect of the class to guide rhythm and focus, and we use the singing voice in most classes to deepen connection with Self.

Restorative Yoga

Intensity - Easy

Restorative yoga is a real treat for the body and mind, and can be very helpful for managing pain and stress. We gently open and stretch the body in simple postures, mostly floor based, using lots of support from bolsters and blankets. It is a time for you to bring the breath more fully into the body and take time in each posture to release tightness and tension. Sometimes we do a longer Yoga Nidra relaxation if deeper rest is needed. Even if you have injuries it can be really helpful; we can adjust all the postures to make them accessible and beneficial for you.

 
 
 
 

Pilates

Intensity - Easy/Moderate

Pilates is an unbelievable way of gaining strength in your pelvic floor and core abdominals to improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility.
